Chairman of Asharqia Chamber: The Financial Guarantee Program promotes SMEs and enhances their roles in the national economy
The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, stressed the importance and vitality of the Council of Ministers' decision on Tuesday, 19 November, to establish a program (financing guarantee for small and medium enterprises), which will be supervised by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises The development of this vital sector, especially as finance comes as one of the most important tools through which this sector can be mobilized and enable it to strengthen its roles in the national economy.
Al-Khaldi said that the State has paid great attention to small and medium enterprises, and provided them with many incentives between procedural, organizational and financing, and provided its leaders with the appropriate climate to apply ideas and innovations, and facilitated a lot of procedures for doing business, as part of a strategic orientation to make these enterprises one of the main pillars the economic development of the country, being one of the most important engines of economic growth; it works to encourage creativity, innovation, and job creation and promote export growth.
Al-Khaldi is optimism about the recovery prospects for the future of small and medium enterprises; referring to the group of stimulus measures taken by the State from time to time, noting that the program (funding guarantee) would pay projects emerging forward, as stimulates the direction of hand finance institutions entrepreneurs from owners of establishments SMEs, enabling them to expand their projects and translate their ideas and innovations into leading and influential business and investment enterprises.
